Symphonic Dance Music, a unique and entirely unique project in the Czech Republic, will bring together a classical symphony orchestra with dance music. During the 90-minute show, Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra Ostrava, together with acclaimed DJ Lukáš Ščurek aka DJ Lowa, will perform thirty of the world’s greatest dance hits. This includes songs from French duo Daft Punk, American producer Roger Sanchez, and legendary groups like The Chemical Brothers and The Prodigy. Vocally, the project features Thalia Award-winning singer Dasha. Arrangements are handled by Jan Lstibůrek, a member of Tomáš Klus’s Target Group. Symphonic Dance Music will take place on July 27, 2024, at the Štěrkovna Open Music Festival in Hlučín.
