The core of the one-movement Krzesan are the three chords Wojciech Kilar noted during his stays in Zakopane. “They had been on the piano for a long time, but I didn’t know what to do with them. Then I went to Spain to see the bullfight. Perhaps it is due to the bullfight, but I have devised the sequel in Spain. ”It is the composer’s farewell to the avant-garde:“ At some point, I realized that the search for new, shocking sources of sound was exhausted.
