“In February 2018, we are having a concert with the Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava in the Gong. Honza Lstibůrek will take care of the arrangement. It will also be “a lesson” for me because I am still trying to educate myself in music,” says the singer, songwriter, guitarist, actor, showman and happy father of a growing family, Tomáš Klus. He is one of the few singers who managed to beat the divine Karel Gott in the ‘Czech Nightingale’ music poll (in 2011). Klus has been on the Czech music scene for nearly a decade, but it was only this year that he released his first live double album Živ je (overall it is only his second CD). It was created on the basis of recordings from several concerts with his band Cílová skupina during last year’s Recyklus Tour (which will continue this autumn). “The reason for the live album was mainly to pay tribute to the people performing with me. I think we released the album on our top form,” says Klus, who is also enjoying his personal life – his wife is expecting their third child.
