Both of the so called domestic soloists still rank among the younger generation, yet they have already managed to achieve a respectable career. Martin Kasík, born in Frenštát pod Radhoštěm, made a breakthrough suddenly at the age of 22 by winning the Prague Spring Competition (1998) and one year he won the prestigious competition in New York. Jan Martiník, born in Ostrava, has been the prominent bassist of the Berlin opera scenes already for ten years, whereas the Czech enviroment has the opportunity to experience his singing and human charisma only in recent years,

The Těsnohlídek’s and Janáček’s aging game warden Bartoš confesses his touching relationship to the nature and the life cycle under the influence of the most famed four-legged heroine. Much later, Zdenek Merta also confesses his relationship to his home Moravia in his piano variations. In the third part, strong feelings will be expressed by thematically conceived Tchaikovsky’s triumphant Fifth Symphony, which in 2018 celebrates 130 years of successful touring the world stages.
